There's more to see in New England than just plants! When you walk around our garden center, you'll meet some of our friendly resident animals who (we hope) will add a special charm to your visit. Read more below to learn about our four-legged garden family!

Callie

Nursery Guard.

Nothing gets past Callie, unless she's sleeping. Which she does, a lot. When she's not prowling around you can find her sleeping in the Atrium or our Garden Shop.

Fluffernutter

Grandpa of the Nursery.

Fluff came from the MSPCA. He's over 13-years old, which makes him more than 90 in human years. He's wobbly on his feet, but well cared for.

Chicks

Our Newest Addition.

We just got 8 cute baby chicks! They have a coop and a chick-sized run in the goat pen. They are still a bit shy, but are starting to venture out into their run a little bit more every day.

Frogs, Fish, and Snails, oh my.

Our Aquatic Friends.

We have frogs, fish, and snails in our fish pond. It's a small pond that is located in our statuary area. It's a relaxing area to sit and enjoy nature's sights and sounds.
