BAGGED MULCHES

Here at New England Nurseries, we are proud to offer a broad range of products, and brands.  Sometimes we might try out a new product, and there may be times that we run out of a product and it's currently on order.  Below are examples of the items we generally have on hand, but if you are looking for something specific, be sure to give us a call or email and we'll check for you.

BAGGED FERTILIZERS, COMPOST, AND MANURE

Here at New England Nurseries, we are proud to offer a broad range of products, and brands.  We carry smaller bags of fertilizers indoors in our Greenhouse and Solutions Room.  Our larger bags are stocked outside.  Below are some of the brands we carry.  If you are looking for something specific, be sure to give us a call or email and we'll check for you.  

SOLUTIONS ROOM

If you have a garden need, we have a solution.  From plant fertilizers and food to pest or disease control we've thought of everything.  We stock our smaller items in our indoor Solutions Room such as spray bottles, shaker containers, pint to gallon bottles, and smaller bagged fertilizers

& remedies.  Check out a few images from our Solutions Room.  If you have any questions

MULCH CALCULATION

For Square or Rectangular Beds:

  1. Multiply:  Bed Length (Feet) x Bed Width (Feet) = Square Feet

  2. Multiply:  Square Feet x Depth of Mulch in Inches = Volume

  3. Divide:    Volume / 324 = How Many Cubic Yards of Mulch You Need!

For Round Beds:

  1. Measure from the center of the bed to an edge (Feet) = Radius

  2. Multiply:  Radius x Radius x 3.14 = Area 

  3. Multiply:  Area x Depth of Mulch in Inches = Volume

  4. Divide:    Volume / 324 = How Many Cubic Yards of Mulch You Need!

Take advantage of our delivery services to have all your supplies taken right to your home. We are happy to deliver any of your purchases to the following areas and within the following parameters:

​

  • Minimum purchase amount must total $100 before tax, or 3-yards of bulk material;

  • Refundable pallet charge of $20 applies to full pallet deliveries (Ideal Block, Techo Block, and Sod Pallets only)

  • Customers may order less than 3-yards, but will incur a $10 per yard fee.​

 

Other restrictions and charges may apply.  Please call us with any questions you may have.

We are often able to combine bagged goods or plant material with bulk item deliveries to help save you money.

Let our experts do the work for you with our thorough mulch delivery and installation process:

  • Measure: The most important step in laying down mulch is knowing how much you need. You need one cubic yard for every 108 square feet.  Use our calculation guidance above to calculate your exact needs.

  • Prepare: You will want to prepare the area by clearing it of debris, weed the area where mulch will be placed, edge your beds, and add any soil amendments or fertilizers before the mulch is installed.

  • Need Assistance? Our landscaping professionals can rake and clear the area, weed and edge the beds for you for an additional fee.  We can provide you with a quote for bed preparation.

  • Mulch: Finally, our landscapers will spread your mulch evenly over your garden. We make sure at least three inches of it is spread to ensure it traps moisture and retains heat.
